Do high end LCD work for gaming ?

I was thinking of buying an LCD monitor because i need to free up some space on my desk and my 19" Crt is having problems due to its age and i was thinking of buying the Sharp LL-T1820. Does any one have this monitor ? and if so does it work well with games at all ?

well there are some advantages and disdvantages of LCD monitors, one of the advantages is that they take up almost no space, and some CRT's have about 8 lb's of lead.....

a disadvantage r 2 is that, they r not that good for gaming, and even a 15" LCD is at LEAST $350 brand new, CRT monitors are much better i think, becuase u can get a 21" "Flat" crt for about the price of a 15" LCD, CRT's are also better of gaming because of the better refresh rate. well thats about all i really know so i hope this helps!

P.S. o yes if ur gonna buy a CRT i reccomend Samsung 17" monitor, ne of theres will usually be a flat one, with about 16.7" viewable and under $200 once again, i hope this helps
