Got my new Radeon9000 today guys...

New radeon replacing my old one came in today. Same thing, I guess that means that it isn't the video card...it has to be the mobo, looks like i gotta start saving to get one.

nm...haha, everything works now! this is great, no new mobo afterall...maybe not for awhile tho!

im just using the drivers that came on the Sapphire CD...tell me wutz better about these drivers...and point me in the right direction..haha, would I have to uninstall these drivers that I have on now?

yes so far 2.1 are the best :t

hmm...when i download the 2.1 drivers and run the .exe and try to install, it goes thru everything, then at the VERY end, it says video driver inf or SOMETHING of that sort pops up and all I can do is click OK...and it stops and nothing happens haha

very interesting, now i see what you mean

ok go to Add/Remove program

un-install the drivers

reboot

then install

ALSO go find your TEMP folders

and delete them all

before you run the Drivers Install again

I got a 5408 on the benchmark haha....way low i guess
Ill see if I cant get those catalysts to work...then ill post my score after that...

with the new 2.1 you should reach 10K with no problem :t

about cleaning and deleting all TEMP folders

and then re-installing?

hey AllGamer...the catalyst drivers you told me to download dont support the radeon 9000...maybe i should download catalyst 2.3 instead of 2.1
