Little something interesting,I got into my first bad bios flash today Yikes! Froze 3/4 through green cubes all over flashscreen. Against all better judgement had to reboot cmos checksom error insert bios disc message wouldnt even start my flash!

Cleared Bios same thing....tryed backup.bin disc same thing no flash. I noticed the last line in the flash type is 5v. which was last message before all freezes. Disconected 5v. fans,7v. fans,un-needed drives ect. perfect flash. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I dont claim to know the reason but it seems at least my flash type needs clean and full 5v. ........Just a little FYI JIC http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
