Are you going to encode these files into VCD or SVCD or just onto a Data CD? Bigjakkstaffa 09-15-2002, 03:35 PM You can get CDR's over 80mins/700mb, although im not sure where...sorry :( --Jakk:t tricktx 09-15-2002, 05:39 PM you can overburn a cd upto around 90mins (800MB ish) but i havent ever tried but on my nero cdrw software i have the option to overburn the cd. Richard Majestic12 09-15-2002, 06:38 PM tried to split a divX movie. Either it dosent work, or im too stupid and cant figure it out. just a data CD, and do you know where to get those 800 meg CDs? omega31 09-15-2002, 08:18 PM AVI Chop (http://download.divx.com/videotools/avichop/avichop02.zip) to cut the avi divx file and DivFix (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divfix.html) to repair the file, adding the end file details that avi requires. DivFix may or may not be required. Just use Avi Chop and play the resulting file. If it won't play, use DivFix. I posted the above in an earlier thread. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=115947&postid708978#post708978 gibsinep 09-15-2002, 08:32 PM Spliting it is the correct way. kazuza 09-15-2002, 11:07 PM Just use VirtualDub It's more than proven to be the most effective tool in that field PaRaNoiD 09-16-2002, 10:24 AM Originally posted by Majestic12 I ..."found" some divx movies, but they are bigger than 700 megs. does anyone know where i can get 800 meg CD-Rs? You can overburn 800MB on to a 700MB cd easy with nero. The only thing is does your burner support overburning. AllGamer 09-16-2002, 10:54 AM But that only works with Quality CDR disks on a side note Does anyone know where i can get some 90+ min CDRs? kazuza 09-16-2002, 10:59 AM I believe they are available through the market... Even here I can get my hands on them (except beyng of bad quality...)... Search your local area. I believe you'll find lots of places selling them! AllGamer 09-16-2002, 11:38 AM all i see are the 80 mins/700 meg CDRs but not the 90 mins/800 meg CDRs omega31 09-16-2002, 07:15 PM Does anyone know where i can get some 90+ min CDRs? You can find real good cheap cd burners that can burn 900mb cds. I have a LG 12X8X32 CD-rw drive that cost about $100 and can go up to 100min. SysOpt.com
