Max memory for Win 98SE

Hi,..

a quick question, and wondering if anyone knows any technical info.. like pointing to MS docs etc..

While 98SE cant support large amounts of memory, whats the recommendend maximum amount to have in a 98SE system ?
E.g: It does run with 256 - but is this recc. too large ?
What about 512MB - will it run ?
