Oh boy, a name game! :t
Let's see now  Some folks debate since URL has been pronounced as ural they think HTML could be hitmel or even hitmull . I've even seen it as hatemail but then some ultra feminists :-@ came along and thought hatemale was much better.

But, HTML is just plain ol' H T M L which is probably a good thing, cause I'd hate to think what SHTML might lead to...:x

Well if you can't pronounce HTML then you not cut out for such a high tech discussion in the first place. Of course you could fake it and just say "net lingo dude" . :p

"Hey!

Heck, I'm not English either. In Hawaii we just say "you know da kine, bro' da kine." ;)

Um, I don't dee the point of getting involved in such a meaningless discussion, so I won't.

Okay, so I will. HTML.

H T M L

Pronounce the H as if you were going to say Hyper.
Pronounce the T as if you were going to say Text.
Pronounce the M as if you were going to say Markup.
Pronounce the L as if you were going to say Language.

hmmm, perhaps we all need to goto English classes again.

No matter, it's just like WWW. Either it's "Wuh Wuh Wuh" or "Dub Dub Dub" or "Triple U" or ... you get it. No "Double U Double U Double U", of course. I guess that's what makes the online life so diverse, seeing as racial braaiers are not very prominent (but I still have to remember why DocEvi! left).
