You would need to upload the picture to your personal webspace which is usually provided by your ISP, then you can link the picture like this:

{img}http://www.myisp.com/users/myname/mypicture.jpg{/img}

now substitute the {} for []

Here I link an actual picture, you can see how I did it by clicking the edit icon. Please remember not to link images from other websites - that is bandwidth stealing.

Here is a place that will host free pictures.
To be considerate to others, try to post a picture small enough to fit in the normal screen size here, and make sure it is in .jpg or .gif format so it's not a huge download.
http://b.postmypic.com/b.nsf/Post

Use a seperate browser window to upload the picture to that site, and use CMonster's instructions to post it here.
Best of luck.

First, get a place where you can upload graphics. Upload the graphic. At the upload site, right click on the graphic. Go into Properties and look for the URL. Copy the URL. Put it in the UBB code, ie w/o space URL !

Here is a great free utility for converting and resizing pictures.

To give you an idea on a good size or dimension, you can right click on one of the pictures above and choose "properties".
