Can't seem to get on the Gnutella net

I've tried pretty much ever one of the Gnutella clones, but none of even pretend to connect to any IP's. I'm on a network, but first of all, I thought that you couldn't block Gnutella like Napster, and second, there's no firewall that I'm aware of. Anyone got any ideas?

i had to find someone that had gnutella working to help me...i never could figure out how to make it work on myown...

Go to the above site to learn how to use Gnutella. Be aware that a trojan horse is now being circulated on Gnutella, but is now begnin. It's like a "test" trojan.

But the clone NEWTELLA specializes in MP3s. MP3s don't have viruses! You might want to stick to that.

Gnutella programs take a bit to get "warmed" up. It may take a few minutes to get the connection. If you can't get any connection from the "automatics" listed, try entering w/o quotes in the host box: "www.gnutellahosts.com"
