seems to me that running your games under XP isn't going to be affected one way or the other by using either

if you're having problems running games what are they and what's happening?

the biggest diffrence in home and pro is that pro is used at big buissness and is used more for networking and such

"Pro is way better !"

And a lot more expensive...
Use WinXP Pro by all means, however if you don't run a medim sized bisiness, run a single PC, have a small network, use single processor motheboard, use one monitor, then why pay for things you're not going to use...

I use XP Home myself and have few if any probs myself. Was going to purchase XP Pro (OEM) bu decided on XP Home as I was not going to use XP pro's "extra features".

Just a thought, how many of you bought Win 3.11 over Win 3.1 just because of "extra features" mostly underused...?

What is the difference between the OEM & RETAIL on WIndows XP home & Pro.. I only can see the price is huge difference. hmm is the oem for private user and for commerical use must purchase the retail??

I didn't upgrade from 3.1 to 3.11, I had 3.11 installed on my 486 packard bell.

OEM is cheaper, but usually you have to buy some piece of "vital" hardware, like hard drive, cpu, motherboard. Private and commercial users can use either.
