If you have the Clipboard Viewer installed with Windows you can open that up, then go to the 'Edit' menu and then 'Delete'. This will clear it's contents. It's located under 'System Tools'.

If you don't, you can install the Clipboard Viewer by going to Add/Remove Programs under Control Panel. Go to the Windows Setup tab and then select System Tools. Click on Details and place a check in the box next to 'Clipboard Viewer'. After hitting OK twice, that should get it installed.

The only other way I can think of would be to install some 3rd party app to do it or to reboot your machine. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Just highlight a single, empty space on any text or html file, r-click it & choose copy.

That's what I always do, I just highlight a single letter or word to clear a large image that is on the clipboard....
