Is there much of a difference between the two.
Does it really make much of a difference to overall performance.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.
Later.

I have really noticed any difference between them.
I have also heard there isn't much anyway, but I agree with allgamer.

Correct. :D
You won't notice any difference at all. Hard Drive speed has more to do with the RPM of the Platters and Seek times than the ATA interface.
ATA 100 and ATA 133 are the same if everything else is equal, both drives are 7200 rpm and of equal seek, and read, write times.
They both will transfer data at the same rate because IDE drives won't tranfer data even at ATA 100 speed let alone ATA 133. ;)
In other words IDE drives aren't fast enough to worry about it.
