UPGRADING my pc, witch motherboard should I go with??

Hello there, my first post
Feeling like my pc is in line for another upgade, its addictive!!

my current specs are:

AMD Athlon 800
256 MB RAM (PC-133)
GeFORCE2 32 MB MX
SoundBlaster Ensoniq
13.1 GIG hard drive

I wanna upgrade it to a thunderbird 1Ghz or higher, I have a choice between an ASUS A7V KT133 or ASUS A7V KT133"A" just wondering if you guys know the difference between these 2 motherboards... witch one should I go with if I'm a serious gamer.

Definately go with the ASUS 133A, it offers the faster FSB support. There are alot of reviews out about alot of the new KT133A chipset boards but ASUS and ABIT rank highest but all are only differnet by a few numbers.

I am very happy with my Abit KT7A board but since getting it I have read many bad things about quality control and Abit. Where was all that info before I bought it? AMD removed Abit from their Recommenced motherboard list for this reason.;(


I would recommend the Iwill KK266 (http://www.iwillusa.com/products/spec.asp?ModelName=KA266&SupportID=) since I have heard nothing but great comments about this board. Oh, and they just released a BIOS upgrade that will allow overclocking up to 200/400mhz fsb!!

I have a Abit K7 raid and Im running a 1gig amd chip \\ so far so good. I thinks its a very stable board.
