ATI Radeon 7000 PCI

Can someone tell me how to install this thing? :confused: I've tried to disable with Integrated Graphics chip through the Device Manager, but when I install the Radeon in the PCI slot and turn on the power, nothing happens. I just get a blank screen.

I've got a Compaq Presario 5000 series with a Compaq 06C0h motherboard, and an Intel 810e chipset.

Any help will be appreciated.

Did you First dissable the ON BOARD Video in the COMPAQ BIOS by hitting [F10] During boot time?

it may not be that simple. I had a friend who had a compaq system and wanted a old banshee putting in and no matter what i did the int vid wouldnt shut off from the bios. i kept turning back on again. So you may have to change a jumper like i had to on the mobo. But you will prob need the manual

i tried to do that BIOs thing but there was no option for disabling the onboard graphics from there

If you can't disable it in the bios you could try disabling it in windows through the device manager.
