well after some time I managed to get the money for my new 60GB drive http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif and my 30Gb will go as a backup drive http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I wonder what i will do with all this space...videos? MP3's? Downloads? Games?
im used to only having a 2-3GB backup i was gonna go for a 20GB drive as a backup but decided to get a new drive thats twice as big as my current one and use my current one as a backup.
say those .psp Images take up quite some space http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
atleast i wont have to worry bought space for the next few years http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I also have a 45gb hard drive. Picked it up for $150 with free shipping.
I used to use my CD-RW for backup along (still do for some things). I strongly recommend a second hard drive for backup for the rest of you. It is soooo fast. Compare 600kb second (my CD-RW) to 30mb a second (about) that you get copying data from one hd to another.
Any hard drive will do. I use my old hard drive that came with my Dell computer: a 10gb Quantum Fireball. If I ever need more space, I can either get bigger 2nd hd or use more of my CD-RW.

I just bought a mew Maxtor 40 Gig 7200 drive, and I am using a 20 Gig Western Digital also. I also installed a Ultra ATA/100 PCI adaptor card and WOW! It makes the drive even zippier yet! The speed is quite incredible.

I have 2 75GXP 45Gigers en RAID0, and a 20GB WD ATA/66 7200RPM for backup.
I think I maxed out my 300w PSU w/ all that, since if i plug in my USB Digital Camera, the comp wont boot.
