"Ginger Wig" heatsink

My friend somehow engineered a copper cooler, that uses copper wire melted to the heatsink which he made himself, it looks like a badly made ginger wig. Amazingly he says it has been the best heatsink he has ever had and it kicks the a** off anything on the market. I am going to try to get some pictures :)
I am guessing it cools so well because it has a massive surface area...Just thought I would spread the word for others to follow his legacy lol
