get around password protection

Is there anyway to get round a password protected BIOS. It has been set by the people who built the machine and they are now out of business.

switch off the com while opening hte case
the easiest way to get rid of the passward is open your case and remove the motherboard battery!

leave for 5-10 min..

then boot your com...

switch off the com and
then put back the battery and the password is gone!

I believe,, all you need to do is reset the cmos jumper,, it's usually very close to the battery,, take the jumper off the pins,, set it on the other pins,,, and wait about 30 seconds,, then reset the jumper to it's original position,, this should work,,, good luck,,
