I have a Archive 5540c Tape dirve and can not find any device drivers or software to run the darn thing can any one help,

I think it will only run in DOS ???

That unit is so old (it holds only 20/40 MEGS Native/Compressed MEGS)

That unit uses the Floppy disk controller interface and the backup software must have support built into the software to recognize that drive. (I THINK the microsoft windows backup utility will support it)

But truthfully the tapes will cost more than a zip disk and the zip will hold 5 times more data.
