This may be a stupid question but how can I tell what chipset is in my computer without opening it up ?
Compaq Presario 5716 (I Know http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif)
PIII 450
15 Gig Hd

Off the top of my head, Id say that most likely it has either a 440BX chipset or an 815e...steve
