OK, so you like to fiddle, kinda like me. Well, your system is already quite robust so about the only way to go is processor speed. That gives you three options: (1) Upgrade to a faster processor, if the mobo will support it. That's not much of a challenge, though, so I would suggest (2) Overclocking or (3) Get a new mobo and processor then be prepared to deal with moving your hard drive to a new mobo or to reformat and re-install.

I'd suggest getting another 128mb of RAM. It's about $40-$50, and you will see a difference (noticeable in Me, not so much in 98), plus then you can load more things at the same time.
Your system will boot a little faster, games and other programs will load faster, and it's cheap.

If you're happy with the performance of your computer but you really want to spend some money on it anyway, then I say get a bigger monitor. I'm so used to a 19" now that I can barely stand to look at a 17". If I had to use a 15", I'd hang myself. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
Like Nighthawk said, it's a good time to buy memory, whether you need it or not. 13 months ago, I paid $194 for a 128MB Dimm from Crucial, now it can be had for $54. I bought 384MB in the last few months, and I'm fixin' to get even more.

All depends on where your bottlenecks and system drags are. For all I know, that system may be great for you without any upgrading.
