I have a HP pavilion 512x, its a 1.4 MHz celeron processor (I"m using PC100 ram inside). what is the transfer rate for the hard drive(s)? I have an 'old' SIIG card I can use that will get the 100mbit transfer rate, but not sure if the stock MB is all ready there... any suggestions how to find out?

it might require a BIOS upgrade to enable the feature, like i did on my old Compaq, it was only ATA 33, after the BIOS update, it allowed the ATA 66+

never mind HP info is wrong. I orginally posted a link to the spec page at HP for this pc but then noticed it had an 810 chipset listed and was saying "that cant work, tualatins need an 815ep".
