i noticed on the Microsoft Windows Update page

Anti-virus software users: Some anti-virus software programs may interfere with this download. Please disable anti-virus software while installing Internet Explorer.

Try scanning a Win95 installation with an old 16-bit Win3.1 virus scanner. Most of these old scanners would list Win95 as a virus, as some of the files do not follow the 8.3 naming convention. This really freaked out a lot of Win3.1 users when Win95 was first released.

im running win 95 with no anti virus software in puter at all.so far so good.
