Could anyone help me just purchased AMD XP2000+ & ABIT KR7 RAID. the board goes upto a xp1900 also in bios a setting user define i think the setting i need is 133 fbs with a multiplier of 12.5 but the user define settings only let the multiplier goto 12 or 13, i've been to Abit site downloaded the KR7A6N.EXE flash upgrade which is supposed to solve this problem but i couldn't get the flash upgrade to accept, in dos i typed a:\>KR7A6N.EXE it went through the motions as of it was changing setting but when i went back to cmos there were no updated chooses or values, i also tried a:\>AWDFLASH KR7A6N.EXE window came up and the program run with chooses to save so saved then run kr7a6n in the program but got message "the program part number does not match your system also Checksum:30D2H also had the message this is not AWARD bios as i've been trying ,,, anyone with more knowledge , tips ,, the answer to this 3 day nightmare i would be grateful p.s. most the time the system won't boot until i change the clear cmos pin then restart any answers please . brennn@blueyonder.co.uk:confused: :confused:
