Actually, the Thunderbird is also an Athlon. The one with 512kb cache is a SlotA. The Tbird and Duron are SocketA. There are also SlotA Thunderbirds, but work on only a few SlotA mainboards.

duron has 64k cache
and tbird 256k!!!

Athlon has 512k of cache at like 1/2, 1/3 & 2/5 the CPU speed

T-bird has 256k at full speed. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...
