What is the best software to burn an ISO image? I tried with Nero but I keep getting an "Unexpected File Format" error.

I just use Adaptec Easy CD Creator V.4.02 to burn all CD's including ISO image files.....

HI. Are you trying to make a backup of your legally owned software cd's?

If so, whenever I do that I use blindwrite suite.

You can get it here:

Get the suite (blind read AND blind write).

Have fun,

Nero is fine for burning an ISO but you have to do it the right way.

Open Nero and if the wizard launches close it, click on "file" and then "Burn Image", locate the folder were the ISO is and then use the pulldown menu to make sure that it is showing "all files" and not "image files (.nrg)".

Now choose the ISO and then the next box that pops up just leave all the settings and hit OK. The burn window will pop up and your all set!
