Again, I ask for you knowlege. Just wanting a case recoommendation, and to check some parts with you guys. Building a Duron system, for home use only, light gaming, few heavy programs. like the looks of Microstar K7T Pro 2A. Anyone have experience with this one? everything else pretty much straight foward, but look over the specs anyway, make sure i didn't forget anything important. PC133 CAS2 256 MB
NVIDIA Geforece2 MX 16 MB
Possible SB live PCI ???
Brandname 7200 RPM 10-15 GB HD
Brandname DVD (unknown speed)
Cheap floppy
cheap NIC
resonably priced modem (56k)
will worry about perifrials later.

Need recommendations on case, and checks on the mobo, and overall config. Thanks guys (and gals)

the msi board is not bad works well. I've had a problem with the onboard sound being a bit choppy not a problem if your going to upgrade to a sound blaster live though
make sure you get the latest bios update for it and via 4in1 drivers and all is fine.

for about the same price try the Asus A7pro I like it alot better http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks scotter. any one have an idea about the price this thing should be, I'd like to keep it under $1000, not including a monitor, and no software (obviuosly http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Also, please make sure i didn;t forget anything, i keep thinging i'm missing something. Also, if anyone has a suggestion, give it please. I'm on a budget, but it's kinda flexable. If you see something that might work better here, of somewhere i can maybe save a little bit of money, yippi
