Do car adapters for notebooks that plug into the cigarette lighter work well? I worry about power fluctuation depending on the RPMs of the engine. Anybody had expereince with these adapters?

Plug it into the cigerette lighter and out comes 110 AC, works well! Richard_Cranium72 02-25-2001, 05:23 PM I have a 140 watt unit. When checked with a Quality Digital Voltmeter, the voltage was stable within 0.1 volt DC or 1/10 of a volt. This was when starting the vehicle too, massive drain on the battery did NOT affect the output.. DrVette SysOpt.com
