at itv player problem

hi i'm using winxp on p2 266 and 128mb ram and i have the ati rage 128 with tv tuner
i'm using th ati multimedia center 7.6 , the newest version.
every time i'm trying to run the tv player my pc hangs on
already tried the ati website, still it does'nt work

Use MSCONFIG.EXE to disable as many startup items as you can. Something else (like Real One - "EVNTSVC") may be interfering.

of course the Rage 128 cannot run 7.6
maximum it goes is 7.2

and make sure you are running these drivers here:

the drivers on 7.6 MMC are for the RADEON series and not the RAGE series

actually i've also tried the 7.2 version and it does'nt work either,
and i've tried to disable all the stuff on MSCONFIG and it does'nt work

My ATI TV wonder VE does the same...its Xp and ati they dont play well for me anyways. In win98/ME its fine. BUt XP the tv is all garbled UNLESS I double click the desktop when opening it-what a pain. And you cant record this way either!:(
