Trying to use DriveImage 4 to set up back up C:\ drive for elderly gentleman. Maxtor HD EZ BIOS is set DISABLED and apparently will not let DriveImage Load (Does not give option press Ctrl to select A:\ (floppy drive.)

Feel sure if EZ BIOS was set at ENABLED,I would be able to use DriveImage 4, either Rescue Disks or HD ver.

How do I do it?

thanks

Get Error message 89.

Huh, funny you should be having a very similar problem. From what I've been able to find out about error no 89 is that EZ-drive or bios has to be removed from said drive for Drive Image to work. Big problem is the fact that removing EZ from drive results in data loss! Get this- I just disabled ez-bios on one of my drives, even though it was not controlling the drive, to try and use DI 4.0. I boot back into Windows and data on 2nd partition of drive is reported as non-formated. "No problem", I think- I'll just re-enable EZ and go back to the way they were right? WRONG!! I still can not access the 2nd partition, however the 1st partition is OK. I'd be very careful with removing or disabling EZ until you've got backups. But that's what we bought DI 4.0 for right? It stinks! Power Quest doesn't mention much about EZ until you try and use the program! I'm still trying to sort out my mess! Good luck on your end.
