I have a pent 2 350mgh 192mg ram computer with a Chaintech 6BTM mainboard. I have an 8 gig hard drive that is almost full. I have to update the BIOS to add up to 30 gig.
I downloaded the update and the flash utility in to the same folder. I opened the update file. I made a bootable disk and removed the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS.
I booted from the disk and I come to an A:\ prompt.
The directions say to run the flash utility. It doesn't tell me what to type in at the prompt, just run it. What do I do?
There must be a command I have to type in to run the flash utility.
If someone could help me I would appreciate it.
Thanks....

You didn't tell what flash utility do you use, and I'm too lazy to check what BIOS your Chaintech has http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif ... so :
First check name of your new BIOS upgrade file, then run the flash utility with "/?" parameter, "awdflash /?", for example. Don't look for all too complicated options ...
You can also look for some BIOS Upgrade FAQ on Chaintech site.
