I have a Gigabyte GA 5AA motherboard with 128 megabytes of dimm memory pc100. I would like to put another 128 meg of memory in. Can I mix what I have with SDram memory.

PC-66, PC-100 and PC-133 are all SDram
I take it your running your Front side bus at 100MHZ if so then you want PC-100 or PC-133 memory
if your buying a new stick go with PC-133 it's the same or cheaper than PC-100 right now and you will beable to use it in any of the most of the newer systems if you upgrade

anyway read your manual for that board it will tell your exactly what kind and how much that board will support

If your current memory is labled "PC-100", then it is SDRAM. You should be able to mix any PC 100 or PC 133 modules with what you already have. Use the Memory Selector (http://www.crucial.com/) at Crucial.com to locate the appropriate memory type you need.

The GA 5AA can use either EDO Dimms or SDRAM Dimms. If you have EDO, you can't use SDRAM at the same time.
