Basically the problem is nothing is printing. Its a machine with win95 and when you try to print anything everything seems to work, I get no error messages but nothing comes out. I know its not the printers because I've tried two different ones and I know they work. I've installed the printer drivers a few times and have tried different printer drivers but I get nothing. I know there is some communication going on between the computer and printer, because if I try to print and have not paper I get an error message on the computer, but as soon as put paper in the error message goes away and I get nothing.

First use the printer's on-board controls to print a test page. Check your printer documentation on how to do this. Then go to Settings/Printers. Is the printer listed? If so, right click the printer icon and choose Print Test Page from the diolague window that appears. You will see a window that asks if the test page printed correctly. If the page did not, then this window is where you start for Windows to walk you through the Printer Troubleshooter, in which just about all possibilities will be checked.
