I heard here and there that presetting virtual memory in windows makes basicaly less hard drive lag or faster loadings, then I heard too, that letting windows set your virtual memory makes your games load faster then when you preset it. I do not deny the fact that presetting virtual memory makes the computer run faster, but I never heard people say it was specificaly for games. Which is best? I run most of the time Counter-Strike and Asheron's Call, in Asheron's Call I often get hardrive lag when getting in crowded area. Right now my virtual memory is preset by me for 2.5x my ram (128mb ram)
