Hi all
does anyone know a way to tell windows where to display on the screen My post/boot up screens and dos based programs come up in the right place but when windows starts I have to adjust my screen all the way to one side ..? not sure if its poss. but I figured some one would know

If I understand you correctly, your screen display is centered properly until Windows actually starts. At this time, the entire Desktop is shifted off to one side.
Your monitor has centering adjustments. These settings only apply to the resolution/color depth/refresh rate that they are made in. If you're in DOS and adjust those monitor settings, those settings will be retained for all full-screen DOS modes. Once you're in Windows, adjust the monitor controls until your Desktop is centered for each resolution/color depth that you use in Windows. Once done, you should not have to do this again.

ty bi polar buttt you went right over my head is this something that is done thru my display properties ??
cause I just dont see it or are ya telling me to just use the monitors screen adjustment as needed? thanks man

Yes - adjust the monitor. Don't use Display Properties.
