Ok, I just slapped together a new system and I am not exactly pleased with my benchmark. But, I also have a few questions. FIrst lemme tell you the hardware yunder the hood...

Asus A7V333 Mobo
Athlon 2200+
Volcano7+ HS/F
256MB Samsung PC2700
MSI GF4 Ti4200
Creative Audigy sound card
Maxtor Ata/133 80GB HD

So, on the part of 3DMark2001 where it has the 50 guys walking around shooting each other my system chugs for some reason and the fps drops drastically. Anything you people can suggest to fix this? Should I snag some more RAM??? Thanks a ton.

RAM is fine.
Everything else is fine as well :)

I'd suggest latest drivers for everything and especially for the videocard (reference v30.82 is available from nVIDIA, no complains so far).

I found that the 30.82 increased my score by over 1000 points

I updated to the driver you guys said and it didn't do a terrible amount to help. So, then I was thinking. Why not update all my drivers? It was when I updated to the newest mobo drivers that I saw my score go up from around 7000 to 8880. So. Yeah. Amazing what such a little thing can do, eh? Thanks for all the help guys.
