For those of you near Denver, CART is racing there for the first time in 10 years there this weekend.

Course is set up around the Pepsi Center (where the Avs/Nuggets play).

Will be a great weekend of racing with things getting started at 8am on friday.

Yours truly will be working one of the turns (CART Course Observer/Flagger).

Check out cart.com and seventhgear.com for all info about this weekend.:D

go figure
could the post not have been suggesting on the first read I thought he was stupid? could it not be a figure of speech and not an attack? How was that rude? Where was it uncalled for? In jest how can anything been un-called for?

In the UK we don't have CART - you take the mickey out of our football!

Get your facts, and your ideas right before trying to make someone burn - it is never a good idea to complain about something that you don't understand....maybe the cultural divide is greater than I thought :(

Fun weekend

For those that get the Rocky Mountain news, yours truly has a picture in the sports pages of me facing Bruno Junquira rounding turn 6, right at me.

Denver is a great city (minus the T-Storms and Tornados) and I plan on being back.

For those of you that live there, thanks for your hospitality and I plan on returning!!!

Before you call someone STUPID!!! You should learn how to READ!!!

All the sports listings and anyone who actually watches CART knows at least half of the years scheduled races are called "Grand Prix" It's to tell you that it's "a road course" and not an "oval track"!

BUT I would never call you "stupid", just

ignorant

Better LUCK next time Michael!

you toffee nosed, ignorant, imbecile. How the heck do you propose I can type these f'ing replies if I don't read your post
You know, I aint gonna defend myself, the idea that someone could be typing a "joke" (look it up in the dictionary yourself) is lost on you....there is no point trying to flame someone who doesn't care, I am here to help people and enjoy the community spirit - I am starting to wonder if this American owned board is any use for us "English Types" (yes I remember the post) - with people like you (our Grand Prix is F1 period) who can't take the cultural joke, well.....

Anyway, who can't read - maybe you aren't able to see "thought" in my post followed by F1.....

Idiot

Boy don't get your feathers ruffled!

I was just trying to enlighten you on the termonolgy:
"Grand Prix" = Road course
"F1" = Formula One

I guess it must be a UK thing....................
