Roaming Profile Win XP Pro to W2k Server

I created a roaming profile and I get this message when I boot up:

Windows cannot locate the server copy of your romaing profile and is attemption to log you on with your local profile. Changes to the profile will not be copied to the server when you log on again.

Do I need to have a local account on the computer in order for my profile to follow?

nope, you don't need a local account

what you are missing on the server side
is the full path UNC full path where your profile is located on the server.

\\server-name\share-name\your-profile-name
