installing Tomcat

I'm having trouble with starting up Tomcat because of environment variables (JAVA_HOME / J2EE_HOME), which I thought I set correctly. Can you respond here or PM if you have done it before? Thx.

check your vairbles off of sun microsystem's website...just checkout their java area and I think they have free support or a forum.

..had the same problem last fall, but I'm now knee deep in asp.net.

Turns out I needed the J2SE package... apparently the J2EE package is some kind of "add-on" afterward and is not necessary for Tomcat. JSPs running baby! Woohoo.
