Remember that Y S Tech Fan I posted about earlier? I couldn't get a Tach RPM rating until I moved a few fans around...
Y S Techs website stated this was a 4800 RPM fan.
4800 RPM Fan! @ 33 db.
what I go is a 8437-8880 RPM Fan @30 db.
...HUH!? Did I miss something? O.O
Guess that explains why this thing was sucking like a vacuum...
can't find any problem, fan feels cool to touch, seems to run like normal, Gyroscopic counter movement and all...
Sweet, I wonder how many CFM its really pushing? Tried it both on the CPU and Chassis Fan headers...same readings on both, here's a screen shot from USDM on my server:

:eek: How the heck did that happen? The onboard RPM monitors aren't malfunctioning, and honestly, neither is the fan itself, its going like crazy as though it was supposed to.
