Coul someone please tell me the difference between Cas2 and Cas3 memory.

It's the latency or "wait states" of the modules. Lower is better. CAS2 is faster than CAS3, also more expensive.

can i like mix a cas2 with a different type memory?

You can mix the memory, however, if the other memory won't run at Cas2, then you will have to run all the memory at Cas3 (performance hit).
