I am going to help a friend build a computer for his business. He is inetersted in a RAID 1 setup to help safeguard his data. Could anyone please suggest a decently priced MB (<$100) that is stable and relatively easy to setup?
Thanks!
P.S. Thanks to everyone in these forums. I built my first computer in July with knowledge I gained from lurking.

Couple questions to help clarify:
Are you interersted in a Socket A/AMD system or an Intel system? Is IDE onboard RAID adequate for what you want? Or do you want a cheap, err... less expensive board and then want to shell out $$ for an IDE RAID controller card (better performance, but at a cost).
I've owned both Promise onboard and HighPoint onboard RAID mobos. Both do the job, but my experience is that HighPoint RAID boots quicker, turns in better HD tach numbers in speed testing, and offers both more RAID options and ability to set desired RAID stripe size.
My AMD mobo of choice right now is the EPoX 8K3A+, which has HighPoint onboard RAID (RAID-0, -1, -0+1, and JBOD are all supported). It will cost a few bucks more than $100, but it a great stable yet fast mobo, which offers many tweaking / overclocking features.
If you want higher performance, check out the 3Ware "Esplanade" series or the Promise TX2000 series IDE RAID controllers (both require edit/32/edit bit PCI slot).
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I lean towards an AMD MB, but my friend will make the final decision. I don't think that high performance is as much an issue as reliability. Also, my $100 price range isn't firm but just a guideline for what I think he wants to spend. I am in the information gathering stage right now. I am going to present him with options and let him decide what the setup will be.
I will look at your suggestions. Thanks again.
