Once it was totally frozen, and then thawed, and then dried, it only ran for about a minute. It would have been cheaper to just go buy another batterie instead of useing the electricity to freeze it.:p Shinta 08-21-2002, 08:52 PM the batteries on my remote died so i stuck it in a freezer for about 3hrs and put it back in and it works does anyone know if shocking it actually works? Ape0r 08-21-2002, 10:07 PM Sounds like something from Afrotech (www.afrotechmods.com)! itismike 08-21-2002, 10:57 PM Shinta, Next time the remote's batteries "die", try smacking the thing on your armrest. Usually mild corrosion at the battery contact causes the remote to stop working. -Mike PS: Next time it stops, throw it against a brick wall. If that doesn't fix it, you'll probably need a new remote. :D Shinta 08-21-2002, 11:54 PM i do smack the remote when it seems like its dying freezer is last resort :t gjimene2 08-29-2002, 05:10 AM how about giving it some jumper cables from your car? ukulele 08-30-2002, 11:51 PM I actually watched a guy once recharging D cells with a car battery and a long screw driver. I told him he was nuts and found out later he was. ;) optic_pro1430 08-31-2002, 04:17 AM Er... any risk that battery acid would leak? Hope not... Lol... ukulele 08-31-2002, 04:24 AM I was more worried about an explosion. SysOpt.com
