The memory leak has been patched:

ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/asus/misc/utils/probe21707.zip

As an aside, the 1012 BIOS revision for the TUSL2-C addresses the Fan speed false alarm.

Question?

1.2 Tbird, A7M266 board. Origionally came with "the probe" but the thing never did work, just a tumor.

This update will make it operational? Any instructions or just an install-n-go?

:edit:
hehe, should post in the right place :D
---------

the last version of probe messed up the registry on my machine, never mind a memory leak

You might want to think twice about this WRETCH.

I downloaded and installed it..........everything smooth.

I had just started looking through temp & rpm info ( cpu=4x deg. c, fan=48xx rpm ) and all of a sudden it started to flash. At the same time I smelled something other than tobacco burning. I think I hit the kill switch quick enough to avert any real damage.

Safe mode, uninstall.

THE BIRD STILL FLIES!

I noticed the fan over the 761 isn't rotating anymore.

No more pc procto!

Since the software can't control your CPU fan, this looks like coincidence and hardware failure. Better fix that puppy.

I have the booty spike on two TUSL2-Cs right here x 3 days w/no trouble. It used to crash them both.
