I had configured my computer with multi system options, since I had taken classes and therefore, had 90-day trial versions of Server 4.0, Workstation, Server 2000, and a beta version of Win 2000 Pro, along with my regular Win 98 O/S. Since the trial versions expired, I had a mess of bootup options that didn't work.

The problem is, I can't remove the default Win NT Server option that doesn't work. If I'm not quick, it defaults to that before I select Win 98, and hangs. I cleaned out the boot.ini, but the NT Server(default) doesn't show up. What's next???

Same thing happened to me when I uninstalled Linux Mandrake. Couldn't get the darn boot option screen to quit coming up. After tinkering around, I fdisk'd my MBR and it ran fine. Did you uninstall all those trial versions? If so, do an fdisk /mbr and that should take care of it.
