I have an Aureal V.90 56k modem, which works on win98, but I'd like to install in on my Linux RH 7.3

The problem is that aureal company bankrupted and their website is shutdown, and I surely know the drivers were there (at http://linux.aureal.com).

I tried google and many other search engines, but no luck.

Can anyone help?

TIA

pull out the modem, and lets see what Chipset it uses, you might be able to use another drivers to run it

Great!

I visited that page before, but aureal.sourceforge.net wasn't on the list then. It appears that they added it few days ago.

I have that Vortex chip, so I'll try this drivers and see what can I work out.

Thanx a lot.

Hm, I'm looking at this driver right now, and it seems that these all drivers are for Aureal soundcards .

No good. :(

Tho it looks like a soft (Win)modem, if it's a "hard" modem, Linux can probably run it fine.

Yep! Winmodem it is. I was just wandering if some of you have it, or know someone who has it.

Thanx anyway.
