EZCD Help: Track Crossfade & Volume Normalization?

I use v4.03a EZCD. When creating audio CD's I'm unable to figure out how to configure Fading between tracks. According to the help file there should be a 'Audio Effect' menu option under the Track menu item. But, I don't have that menu option. Any ideas?

Also, I've read that EZCD allows you to normalize the volume over different tracks before recording, but I'm not able to find this feature as well.

Any help is appreciated.
