I am going to set up a wireless home network with 3 computers.I am using a dell laptop with a port replicator and two desk tops in other rooms in the house.Looking for some advice on easy set-up and cost.Anyone care to comment as I have little knowlege of these devices. The dsl phone line is at the port rep location and I have not found a wireless hub I can connect to the port rep with a cat5 connection?Help?

Please clarify. Are you using a USB DSL modem or Ethernet?

other than what BPB is asking, you will need a switch, router and a wireless access point (wap). you can get a combo unit that has all 3 or you can get separate pieces. getting a combo saves you money, but it doesn't give as much flexibility as far as locations. I like to get a router/switch and a separate WAP, so that i can put it anywhere I want to get good reception. Just a personal preference.
