Ok, there is a lot of talk around about what to go for in the next wave of 3D cards. ATI Radeon 9700 or the NVIDIA NV30. All the talk about Direct-X 9.0 and DDR-II, etc. I think a lot of us are getting anxious to just see them in action. That is the true comparison. My question is, how will the two touch my pocket and my time? AKA- How do you guys think the prices will compare and release dates will compare? Any guesses as to when and how much?

OEM = drivers, maybe software, maybe wires, maybe manuals
(like my ATI came with the Remote Control and a ton of other stuff, but if you get the OEM version, then it doesnt come with it)

As for your question, AceAirman :
Radeon 9700 is scheduled to be shipped in middle September for a retail price of $399.
NV30 (at least for now) scheduled to be shipped in Christmas, and I believe with a little bit higher tag price, but it should also be faster then the Radeon 9700 (and I do believe it would be indeed).
