divx installation-how?where?

I have downloaded the divx codec but cannot for the life of me figure out how or where to install it. Simply clicking on the install (exe.) icon does not seem to work. Is there a particular location that it should be?

after you install go to your start bar there should be a folder named DIVX. click on the program in that folder called run me first. it will install all the way. enjoy http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
