To all user with Promise ATA 66 controller card,
Does anyone have difficulty installing the Promise and UDMA66 HD? My difficulty is after installing the card and WD Expert; I can access and install CD-ROM driver. Win98 startup diskette and the cdrom manufacture utility diskette can't dectect the CD-ROM drive either. The weird thing is the controller identifies perfectly all the drives installing in the system.
Up to this point I don't have any OS install on the HD yet since I don't have access to CD-ROM drive.
Any insight thought would be greatly appreciated
