a lot, my friend and i try to do LAN with an iBook and an iMac. we can get to each other's HDD's,but cant find each other on games. can anyone help me?

Whichever game you're using, one must start it as a server so that the other can join. When you start as single-player, no one else can join.

Yes depending Depending on the game you want to play, it might require TCP/IP, or IPX.

and in MACs you also have a 3rd option to use Apple Talk

so check with your games networking requirement

bill, we have tried multiplayer with, say, Starcraft. one starts the server and the other joins. we did that. we tried LAN and appletalk.

Can you be just a tiny bit more specifc?, provide some details or steps you took on both MACs
